I missed the June 1st deadline to register … so is it to late for me to go?
No it’s not too late. Please register right away. We need the headcount now, for logistics planning. Register at toesldsyouth.org.
I hear that we will be broken into families of 8-12 youth … do I get to choose who to go with, so I can be with my friends?
No, you do not get to choose which family you are placed in. Youth Conference is an opportunity to meet new youth and leaders and build unity in our Stake. You will get to meet the other youth and leaders of your family at the Youth Conference Fireside on Sunday, June 24 at 6:00 pm.
Can I bring my non-member friend?
Possibly. Please take your request to your Bishop; he will consult with the Stake Leaders for a final decision.
Can I bring a friend/family member from another Stake?
Possibly. We have limited sleeping capacity at Camp Polly. Please take your request to your Bishop; he will consult with Stake Leaders about the number of extra spots available..
I’m a senior in high school; can I still go after I graduate? What if I’m turning 18, can I still go?
Yes to both questions.
How much does it cost to go?
There is no charge. All food and lodging will be provided by the stake. Transportation to and from Camp Polly will be coordinated by parents and youth leaders. Watch this website for a map and directions coming soon.
Do I need to bring any food?
No. Meals and snacks are included beginning with dinner on Thursday, June 28 and ending with lunch on Saturday, June 30.
What if I have food allergies, or special diet considerations?
There is a place on your registration form to note food allergies. Stake leaders will contact you, and assist you in making arrangements for your diet needs.
What items do I need to bring? Pillows/bedding? Other items?
A packing list will be posted on the toesldsyouth.org website as we get closer to the trip. Keep watch for it.
I’m an adult [youth leader, spouse, parent] and I’d like to go. Can I go too?
All adult attendance is by invitation only. We request that only adults that have been assigned or invited by the stake presidency attend. Feel free to contact a member of the planning committee if you would like to volunteer to assist.
